Inventory Manager
The Inventory Manager will accurately maintain daily, weekly and monthly inventory levels while maintaining proper inventory rotation and storage. This position is also responsible for documenting and running reports that provide accurate tracking and tracing of inventory.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manages inventory accuracy by working effectively with and through other members of the organization
- Uses ERP system to maintain inventory accuracy and runs/analyzes variance reports
- Develops and implements methods to maintain accurate inventory levels and reduce waste, including stock replenishment, proper locations, on-hand stock amounts, etc
- Ensures all finished goods, raw materials and other components follow established guidelines and procedures
- Works effectively with cross-functional teams, including purchasing, warehouse and production
- Maintains accurate inventory levels through daily/monthly cycle counts and annual year-end physical inventory
- Predicts future material requirements based on past order data and future scheduling needs
- Assists in the creation of action plans to address inventory issues
- Maintain returned goods in an orderly area
- Follows GMP and other agencies’ regulations
- Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 1-3 years’ experience directly related to the duties specified
- Strong critical thinking skills: root cause analysis, develop solutions and evaluate results
- Experience with ERP system
- Ability to analyze and interpret data
- Proficient with MS Word suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Extremely well organized and able to work with minimum supervision
